Landore Resources Limited has won the Bernie Schneiders Discovery of the Year Award for the discovery of the BAM East Gold Deposit on its Junior Lake Property, 235 kilometres northeast of Thunder Bay.

The award, which recognizes an exceptional discovery in northwestern Ontario during the previous calendar year, was presented April 4 during the 2017 Ontario Prospectors Exploration Showcase in Thunder Bay.

Drilling on the BAM East Gold Deposit re-commenced in April with a total of 12,000 metres planned for this spring and summer. One drill is currently focussed on further delineation of the deposit, with a second drill scheduled to commence exploration drilling along the highly prospective structural trend which hosts the BAM East Gold Deposit.

A study of available geological and drilling information is in-progress to further identify prospective drill targets with completion anticipated by the end of Q2.

Discovered in December 2015, the BAM East Gold Deposit contains 301,000 ounces of gold based on a February 2017 NI 43-101 mineral resource estimate and technical report.
