Three mining supply and service companies were honoured at the 29th annual Northern Ontario Business Awards gala in Thunder Bay, October 1st.
Winner of the company of the year award in the 51plus-employee category was Ionic Engineering, of Sudbury, a company specializing in control systems, special purpose machines and complete automation systems.
The Innovation Award was won by WipWare of North Bay, a manufacturer of photoanalysis and fragmentation analysis software and hardware systems.
Wining the Export Award was Kovit Engineering Ltd., a Sudbury-based company specializing in backfill and tailings management solutions.
