Northern Ontario mining suppliers will be out in full force at the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) annual convention, trade show and investors exchange March 6 to 9.

For the third year in a row, mining supply and service companies and organizations are being offered an opportunity to participate in a Northern Ontario Mining Showcase in the Metro Toronto Convention Centre’s North Building.

Thanks to funding of $380,000 from FedNor, supply and service companies can rent a 10-by-10-foot kiosk for $500.

Last year, the Northern Ontario Mining Showcase accommodated 56 suppliers in 6,000 square feet of space. This year, said Showcase organizer Marla Tremblay, there will be room for 74 exhibitors in an 8,000-square-foot pavilion.

In 2015, the PDAC attracted 23,578 attendees from over 100 countries.
