Hard-Line Solutions’ equipment control and automation systems increase throughput, safety, efficiency and asset utilization.

Hard-Line Solutions Inc., a Sudbury-based heavy equipment control and automation specialist, has teamed up with Murray Engineering of the Byrnecut mining services group in Australia to provide comprehensive support for Hard-Line products in Australia, Mongolia, Africa and the Middle East.

Hard-Line’s products “are a non-brand specific, non-machine specific system that delivers maximum operating transparency, and no programmatic restrictions for us as the product support group,” said George Priest, Murray Engineering’s automation and control manager. “Many systems are programmable and restricted. Components cannot be different brands. Hard-Line provides a distinct advantage there.”

“We are excited about this partnership,” said Hard-Line founder and president Walter Siggelkow. “Hard-Line’s flexibility has always been a differentiator. We are the manufacturer of the technology. We do all the design, software development and R&D. It gives us the ability to customize the technology to suit our customers’ specific needs and production goals. We train their people to optimize the use of the technology, to increase throughput, safety, efficiency and asset utilization.”

Hard-Line technology is used to control and automate drills, trucks, rock breakers, loaders, dozers, trains and other specialized equipment.
