TULLOCH Engineering acquires Huntsville firm

Wayne Simpson & Associates will provide ‘strong complement’ to TULLOCH’s expertise

TULLOCH Engineering has announced the acquisition of Wayne Simpson & Associates, a small Huntsville-based firm offering land use planning and development services in the Muskoka area.

TULLOCH announced the acquisition on July 7, noting that Wayne Simpson & Associates will join TULLOCH immediately.

“This will provide a strong complement to TULLOCH’s breadth of expertise in engineering, surveying and environmental services,” the company said in a statement.

“Together, the combined companies offer comprehensive, integrated consulting services to the land development industry, and we look forward to expanding our service offerings to WSA’s existing clients.”

Headquartered in Huntsville, TULLOCH Engineering is an engineering consulting firm providing integrated planning, surveying, engineering, and environmental services throughout Canada and internationally for the energy, infrastructure and mining sectors.

Established in 1991 in Thessalon with one engineering and survey office and five staff members, the company has now grown to a multi-disciplinary firm with 300 employees at branch offices across Ontario, Alberta and British Columbia.

Northern Ontario locations include Elliot Lake, Espanola, Huntsville, Parry Sound, Sault Ste. Marie, Sudbury, Thessalon, Thunder Bay, and Timmins.
