Nominations for the Minerals Engineering International (MEI) 2014 Award are now being accepted. The award is given for an outstanding contribution to minerals engineering by a young person.

Nominations for the Minerals Engineering International (MEI) 2014 Award are now being accepted. The award is given for an outstanding contribution to minerals engineering by a young person.

Nominations for persons under 35 years of age as of December 31, 2014 should be submitted by email to [email protected] by February 6 2015.

Nominations should include the name, age and affiliation of the nominee, and reasons for the nomination.

The winner will receive an engraved award and a complimentary registration to any MEI Conference in 2015/16, with the option of presenting an MEI Award lecture.

The 2013 MEI Award recipient was Rodrigo Carvalho of the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
