Engineers, geologists and environmental scientists asked to participate in survey

Laurentian University’s Goodman School of Mines is asking engineers, geologists and environmental scientists to participate in a survey aimed at identifying the “skill, competency and behavioural gaps” to be filled to assume higher level roles left vacant by retirees.

The survey is being conducted for a study by researchers from the Laurentian University in Sudbury and James Cook University in Australia with the goal of developing a self-assessment tool to identify the knowledge and training younger professionals require.

The survey will take approximately eight to 10 minutes and can be found here.
